# Inventory Reference Template

This packet prepares an inventory reference handoff. It does not prove that a unit is available, priced correctly, discounted, finance-eligible, published, reserved, or sold.

Use this template to prepare inventory references for agents, forms, scripts, or internal tools. The packet is a preparation artifact only. It does not mutate a live feed, publish CMS content, create CRM records, submit forms, execute webhooks, or confirm downstream actions.

Do not invent optional values. Use empty strings when a value is not supplied or verified.

## Claim safety checklist

- Availability status is set to `not_claimed`, `unverified`, `blocked`, or verified with current evidence.
- Pricing status is set to `not_claimed`, `unverified`, `blocked`, or verified with current evidence.
- Payment status is set to `not_claimed`, `unverified`, `blocked`, or verified with current evidence.
- Discount status is set to `not_claimed`, `unverified`, `blocked`, or verified with current evidence.
- Location status is set to `not_claimed`, `unverified`, `blocked`, or verified with current evidence.
- Photo status is set to `not_claimed`, `unverified`, `blocked`, or verified with current evidence.

## Availability and pricing warning

Do not say a unit is available now, in stock, on lot, sold, reserved, pending, discounted, price guaranteed, payment approved, or finance eligible unless approved current evidence supports that exact claim.

## Photo and spec warning

Photos, specs, floorplans, features, and condition details may be incomplete or stale. Do not claim that images show the exact current unit condition without current source evidence.

## Validation checklist

- Required top-level fields are present.

## Downstream handoff note

Preparing this packet does not send it anywhere and does not change inventory data. A separate approved action is required for feed mutation, CMS publishing, CRM mutation, form submission, webhook execution, or any downstream action.

## Status definitions

- `verified_current`: Claim was checked against an approved current source at the recorded time.
- `verified_but_time_sensitive`: Claim was verified, but it may change quickly.
- `unverified`: Claim has not been verified from an approved current source.
- `not_claimed`: No claim is being made about this field.
- `blocked`: Claim must not be used because evidence is missing, stale, conflicting, or disallowed.
- `failed_validation`: Packet or claim failed validation checks.
- `draft`: Packet is being prepared and may be incomplete.
- `ready_for_handoff`: Required packet fields are present and the packet is ready for a later approved handoff step.
- `awaiting_source_verification`: Packet is waiting for approved source verification.
- `source_verified`: Source evidence has been verified for the relevant claim.
- `not_sent`: No downstream transfer has occurred.
- `handed_off`: Packet was transferred, but confirmation is not yet available.
- `confirmed`: Downstream action was confirmed by direct evidence.
- `failed`: Downstream transfer or confirmation failed.
